Thanks B. All the recent test results were really good, but for me the measure is the Hematocrit. After all the chemo, the blood transfusions, the steroids, the side effects the worst was the anemia. I haven't felt this good in 10 years.

I take it Hematocrit is HCT on the blood work print out. Mine was 38.5 as of 12/08.

More energy is always a good thing. Since I am new to the blog how long have you had CLL? At what age and stage were you diagnosed?

I have not required treatment for my CLL yet. A couple of weeks ago my lymph nodes became gigantic. I am seeing my Oncologist Dr Kipps next week because of this. Has this ever happened to you? My nodes have always been enlarged but not this bad. To say the least I am a bit freaked right now.

It is nice to see and hear some optomistic stories.

I like the photo included with this post. How did you take it? Did you inform your models, or was it just a public place so you could, 'fire away'. I have a number of candid shots taken in SF, also in B&W, that I like very much. I took them down at fisherman's wharf over a period of time, dating back to the hippie era. (It's funny, but it's easy to find people who still dress that way. What a time warp!)

Nice photo, in any case.
